News24 revealed on Wednesday afternoon that Prasa chair Leonard Ramatlakane was fired by Transport Minister Sindi Chikunga after refusing to vacate a luxury residential property in Cape Town meant for travelling Prasa executives.
 
Former ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule has been asked by the governing party why he shouldn't be expelled from the organisation. This comes after the party's national disciplinary committee found Magashule guilty of contravening the ANC's constitution when he attempted to suspend President Cyril Ramaphosa in 2021.
