The new regulations gazetted by Minister for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma also make it easier to sell and generate power.   The DA has written to Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula, asking for the urgent establishment of an ad hoc committee to investigate systematic corruption at Eskom. Party leader John Steenhuisen says former Eskom CEO André de Ruyter's bombshell interview revealed that Eskom was "under siege from a corrupt network of ANC-connected cartels".   Controversial Turkish company Karpowership has threatened De Ruyter with legal action if he doesn't retract claims that they had a reputation for acting corruptly.
