Naspers subsidiary Prosus has refused to be drawn on the future of its stake in the owner of Russia's biggest social media networking site, VKontakte.
 

VKontakte, which is part of Russian internet company VK Group, boasts more than 100 million active users and is more popular than Facebook in Russia.  
 

This week it was reportedly targeted by a disinformation network that spread Kremlin-friendly propaganda. Since 2017, it has been banned in Ukraine for allegedly carrying pro-Russian propaganda.
